The renovations at 57 Gibson, Focus House, by the Bridge Church and The Bridge 320 Ministry will redefine the space to focus on Spiritual/Mental health needs. This means new recovery rooms for people entering into the Bridge 320 care, renovated space for the live in Ministry Leaders, and new opportunities for ways to bring spiritual guidance and healing.
The Pastor and Director, Randy Roser, said “Spiritual/Mental Health issues are increasing in the Carson City area and the resources to address it should too.”
Carson City has services which keep people safe and from freezing to death. But, the homeless population has changed over the years. Carson City now has Spiritual/Mental health issues and there needs to be revisions in the city wide systems, if something is going to change.
“Bridge 320 will be the place where hurting people can receive a relationship with Jesus Christ and through the Holy Spirit, acquire the tools to change their life,” Randy Roser said. “We meet the people’s needs spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally.”
The renovation of the Focus House will cost roughly forty thousand dollars. With the project scheduled to be finished by the end of May, 2024.
The F.I.S.H. emergency shelters are staying open and will be moved into other F.I.S.H run homes.
